Work
-
2024.07 - 2025.05 Software Engineer
Gold Coast City Council
Led the design and implementation of a generative system and an automated workflow system to create software solutions for business issues. Provided technical consulting to other teams to enhance business processes.
- Engineered an ETL pipeline using NLP techniques such as entity recognition and multi-label classification to extract metadata from project requests and proposals, resulting in standardized data models enriched with additional information.
- Created a Generative AI Project Correspondence System using an agentic workflow with a RAG-based information retrieval system, leveraging Qdrant for vector search and PostgreSQL for structured information retrieval, reducing response time from 10 business days to one day.
- Engineered agentic function tools for cost, time, and resource estimation using context-dependent project similarity measurements, achieving 93% higher accuracy than existing methods and introducing a confidentiality score.
- Configured CI/CD pipelines for DevOps using GitLab to ensure automated and compliant deployment of the generative system to production readiness.
-
2023.07 - 2023.09 System Development Tutor (Part-Time)
Griffith University
Tutored two System Development workshops for up to 60 Bachelor and Master students. Demonstrated leadership abilities by guiding and mentoring student software engineering projects.
-
2019.11 - 2021.02 Technical Lead of Information Systems / Research Associate (Part-Time)
University of New South Wales
Investigated, conceptualized, designed, and implemented information systems for research projects as Technical Lead, focusing on the strategic development of ETL data pipelines to organize heterogeneous data.
- Led four software engineers in developing a risk management tool integrating ML solutions, such as text mining and document classification, streamlining a highly manual auditing process from 14 weeks to less than 10 minutes.
- Designed data models and information system to load extracted data and various data representations into the information system.
-
2018.04 - 2019.02 Software Engineer (Part-Time)
SICK AG
Optimized manufacturing processes spanning the full software development lifecycle, involving requirement engineering, system and UI design, data modeling, and applied artificial intelligence methodologies.
- Conceptualized and implemented a real-time anomaly detection system for monitoring data streams of manufacturing processes, classified process conditions, and scheduled notifications.
- Increased the utilization of the chip manufacturing production line from 19% up to 68%.
-
2014.06 - 2017.09 Software Engineer Trainee
SICK AG
Gained versatile expertise by completing multiple projects in software development, architecture, and deployment, while practicing SCRUM methodology with multiple teams.
